Four open observation decks at the forest summit offer panoramic views of Hoengseong Lake and Hoengseong's four celebrated mountains: Chiaksan, Taegisan, Cheongtaesan and Eodapsan.
From April to October, flowers bloom along the 3.5 km of forest trails, at the summit, in the Soyojae kitchen garden and in the Hyuseon Trail forest permaculture garden. Early spring brings tulips and daffodils; spring and summer bring daisies, lilies, blackberry lilies, sunset hibiscus, balloon flowers and China asters. Autumn brings Korean asters, wild asters, Siberian chrysanthemums and other wild chrysanthemums.
